Kolkata /Mumbai /Chandigarh/New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): Ahead of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's final sporting appearance, former greats of the game bid farewell to the 'little master' and wished him well for his life ahead. Tendulkar, the highest run-scorer in international cricket, will retire after playing his 200th Test match against West Indies at his home ground, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 14. Former cricketer and captain of the 1983 World Cup winning team, Kapil Dev, told mediapersons in New Delhi that Tendulkar should now concentrate on his life beyond the field and spend time with his family. Former skipper and Tendulkar's opening partner in One-Day Internationals, Sourav Ganguly said that the final match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai would definitely be an emotional event. Tendulkar also received a royal send-off with Prince of Wales, Charles, who is on a visit to India with his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, wishing him a 'happy retirement'.
