"We were returning from the shooting location and our vehicles were blocked by the mob. We somehow managed to escape. The mob attacked even after the police asked them to let our vehicle go," said Suraj in the video.

Meanwhile, actor Kunchacko Boban said that the team had decided to stay back at the location as it is unsafe to go back to the hotel by road.

"We are here to shoot a song and a fight sequence, and there is a huge set of a carnival set up here. A few of the crew members tried to leave post the shoot, but they couldn't reach the hotel due to the unrest in the nearby junctions and roads. Our location Naikkarapetti is a village area. There are a few tents in the set, which have been set up for the shoot; we were considering staying back here," said Kunchacko Boban to The Times of India.

"Cousins" is the story about four cousins, which also has Nisha Aggarwal, Pradeep Rawath, Kalabhavan Shajon, P. Balachandran, Santhosh and Shiju in pivotal roles.
