Chhapra, Aug 25 (ANI): Counting is underway in Bihar for the ten assembly seats that had gone to by-polls last week. The trends are showing a close contest with the BJP and RJD leading in five seats. BJP candidate Rampreet Paswan and Niranjan Ram is leading in the Rajnagar and Kaimur seat respectively. While RJD candidate Ajay Kumar has taken the lead in Samastipur seat. The RJD is ahead in Chhapra with party leader Randhir Singh leading. The outcome of the by-polls, the first major political event after the general elections, is significant as it will show the mood of the people before next year's assembly polls.
