Patna/ Vadodara, June 13 (ANI): In wake of intense heat, zoo authorities across India made special arrangements for the animals and birds and installed coolers to help them cope with scorching heat. In an effort to provide cool shelters to birds, jute bags have been placed on cages on which water is sprayed periodically, so that the enclosures remain cool. A visitor to Sanjay Gandhi Zoological Park in Patna city of Bihar, Mohammed Mustaq, said special steps have been taken by the zoo authorities to provide them with summer comfort. Animals are also being provided with a suitable diet, medicines and glucose to prevent dehydration.
