New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday addressed a news conference and highlighted the government's efforts towards cleanliness and provision of safe drinking water. Gadkari said that the government has worked towards transforming the water purification schemes converting them into solar. He added that monitoring and accountability mechanisms have been set up in the drinking water sector to increase efficiency in work. He also said that developing of inland waterways and ports is government's priority and it can contribute to at least 2% to GDP growth of the country.
