West Bengal, July 07 (ANI): In the small village of Kolsivanga near Lalgarh in West Bengal, a canal construction project has brought the residents together across religious and social lines. The Kalaichandi Canal construction project is being worked on by both Hindu and Muslim workers from the small village. The canal has not only provided better irrigation but has also improved water supply for their personal use. The united effort put in by the residents of Kolsivanga towards the completion of Kalaichandi canal signifies that in this day and age, the principles of communal harmony are still alive.
