Raipur, Nov 28 (ANI): Hundreds of protesters took to streets in Raipur city of Chhattisgarh demanding the ruling BJP government in the state to step down immediately and own responsibility of deaths of the 10 women, who went through mass sterilization procedure earlier this month. The protesters belonging to the Congress Party said if their demands were not met with immediate effect, they would march to New Delhi and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ten women died and 14 were in a serious condition after botched operations at a government mass sterilization "camp" in Bilaspur district. Four officials were suspended and an investigation started which revealed that the death happened due to contamination of the medicine used with poison used for killing rodents.
