Bhopal, Nov 01 (ANI): The Congress party went on a hunger strike on Saturday (November 01) against the Madhya Pradesh government for not providing proper details of the investigation into the employment scam that rocks the state. The Vyapam Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam (Employment scam) relates to admissions in medical and engineering colleges during the period 2008 to 2010 in which many government employees are under the scanner for getting selected through unfair means. Members of the Congress party wanted to hold the demonstration outside state Chief, Shivraj Singh Chouhan's official residence but were not given permission. Congress party leader, Satyadev Katare, said that they were on a hunger strike because they were not being provided the information they were demanding.
