Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy attacked Congress on Navjot Singh Sidhu's Pakistan visit on Sunday. He said that Congress can sell the country for power.

Sidhu made headlines after he visited Pakistan to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Imran Khan. During the ceremony, he also hugged Pakistan's Army chief and shared the stage with the president of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) as well.

Earlier, Punjab BJP spokesperson Rajesh Honey criticised Sidhu for attending Imran Khan's oath ceremony. He described Sidhu as "insensitive and opportunistic" because he didn't attend Vajpayee's funeral.
