Two wheeler enthusiasts in India knew that Bajaj's next Pulsar is coming soon, thanks to the numerous appearances it made on cyber space through spy shots, leaked reports and even detailed videos.

The latest news that is coming your way is the official name of the bike, which is currently known as Pulsar 200SS . It has now been confirmed that next Pulsar from Bajaj's plant is Pulsar RS 200 .

The Facebook page of Bajaj on Monday (16 March) released the first teaser of Pulsar RS 200 for Indian two wheeler lovers with the teaser line "Pulsar 200 RS Racing soon". The teaser also labels the bike as "Fasted Pulsar Yet", indicating that the next offering of Bajaj will be tuned to dish out more power.

Pulsar RS 200, the fully faired version of Pulsar 200NS, is all set to rock Indian two wheeler market soon. Although the launch date is not known yet, the recent developments are strong indications of the arrival of the model.

For the uninitiated, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is expected to include the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, triple-spark engine of Pulsar 200NS. Currently the engine has the capacity to churn out 23.52PS of power at 9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of torque at 8,000rpm, but it looks like the latest Pulsar will deliver more power.

The feature list of Pulsar RS 200 is likely to get dual projector headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and a differently-shaped tail lamp and is expected to be offered with fuel injection technology and ABS.

Once it hits the market, Pulsar RS 200 will compete against the likes of Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 and if rumours are anything to go by, the model will be priced at ₹1.5 lakh.
