Gurdaspur/New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): A female teacher in a government school in Gurdaspur district of Punjab has been booked for strip-searching seven girls after she suspected them of stealing 500 rupees from her wallet. When the accused teacher could not find the money after frisking the girls, she asked them to pay a fine of rupees 50 each in order to recover her loss. The incident came to light when the students narrated their ordeal to their parents, who then complained about the incident to the police. Recalling the unfortunate incident, one of the victims, Kajal, said that they were strip-searched thrice by the teacher. The parents of the students were surprised by the behaviour of the accused teacher when they confronted her. They accused her of threatening them.
