Kabul, Sep 11 (ANI): Foreign minister, Sushma Swaraj, while on a state visit to Afghanistan, assured the host nation of every possible assistance in all spheres. Swaraj, who is on her maiden visit to Afghanistan, arrived in Kabul on Wednesday and inaugurated the new Indian embassy building. The foreign minister is visiting India's northwestern neighbour in order to enhance bilateral ties and help it deal with key challenges of security and stability. She, along with Afghan President Hamid Karzai attended the largest national flag hoisting ceremony in Kabul. While addressing the gathering during the ceremony, Swaraj said Afghanistan will always remain India's first strategic partner. She is also expected to hold meeting with presidential candidates in Kabul.
