San Diego Comic-Con 2016 (SDCC) saw a tremendous array of events related to comic books, television series, and movies, where many exclusive announcements were made and new elements were revealed, including merchandise, props and trailers.

Amid all the highlights of this year's convention, the most prominent ones were trailers of the upcoming movies that fans have waited for with a lot of anticipation recently. People stormed the panels of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and DC Extended Universe (DCEU) to be the first ones to know of the latest announcements regarding their latest ventures. 

DCEU released the trailers of its upcoming "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League," and "Suicide Squad" movies. The SDCC exclusive trailers came as a delight to DC fans who were waiting for the next DC instalments for a long time.

Similarly, MCU also revealed the SDCC trailers for its upcoming "Doctor Strange," and though this is the only movie trailer released by Marvel at this Comic-Con, it also disclosed new elements from other MCU movies, like the updated logo of "Thor: Ragnarok" and official concept art of "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

Apart from comic-book movies, the trailers of other anticipated films were also revealed, including the new trailers of "Harry Potter" spin-off "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," the Tom Hiddleston-starrer "Kong: Skull Island," and biographical movie "Snowden," based on the life of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
