The upcoming Comic-Con 2014 will have a lot to offer on the gaming segment too. Nintendo has already confirmed that it will be offering close to 19 video games during the conference.

Comic-Con 2014 is to be held in San Diego starting from 24 July to 27 July. Nintendo has promised participants that it will give them a hands-on experience.

Video games like Super Smash Bros for Wii U & 3DS, Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 will be included in the annual convention. This will be the first time that some of the games will be playable at this event. The games will all be at the 'Nintendo Gaming Lounge' in the Marriott Marquis & Marina hotel, which will be adjacent to the convention grounds, CVG reported.

Apart from these games, Nintendo will also be displaying Amiibo figurines and the there will also be a Tomodachi Life-themed R&R area. The company will also be hosting the Nintendo Challenge Live stage show and Super Smash Bros for 3DS tournament.

Meanwhile, the sales of Nintendo 3DS have jumped up in Japan. The sale of 3DS and Vita combined was close to 100,000 units, up to13 July, according to Media Create, a retail monitor.

The boost in the 3DS hardware is more likely due to the sale of Level 5 RPG, Yo-kai Watch 2 that sold more than 1.3 million since it was released on 10 July.
