'Comedy Nights With Kapil': When Kapil Sharma Romanced Rani Mukerji [PHOTOS]

As part of "Mardaani" promotional spree, Rani Mukerji was on "Comedy Nights With Kapil" to talk about her upcoming release. Peppered with mad gags by the entire cast of the show, it was an entertainer from start to finish.

According to a Times of India report, Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali also shot an episode to promote Priyanka Chopra starrer "Mary Kom" on the same day. Mukerji was seen having fun on the sets and also actively participated in some of the acts performed by the cast. The gorgeous actress jokingly pulled master comedian Kapil Sharma's cheeks and interacted with his on-screen wife Manju (Sumon Chakravarti) at length.

From the pictures, it looks as if Sharma returned the favour by singing a romantic number for the "Mardaani" actress. While, she made both Navjot Singh Sidhu and Sharma sit on the couch and in all probabilities interrogated in cop style. In a white embroidered ensemble, the Yash Raj 'bahu' looked every inch a stunner.

Slated for release on 22 August, "Mardaani" is director Pradeep Sarkar's latest offing. The action-packed thriller promises serious stunts and chase sequences. Mukerji, whose mission in the film is to unearth human-trafficking racket, has apparently met the crime branch officer of Mumbai to prepare for her tough role.
