New Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): In Bangladesh people came out into the streets to celebrate a Supreme Court judgment that awarded death sentence to Abdul Quader Mollah for the beheading of a poet and raping a pre teen and shooting 344 people during the Liberation War of 1971 and another mass killing. Mollah was awarded life imprisonment in February this year, a verdict which sparked of protests on the streets of Bangladesh. Many were shocked that after all these years of waiting, when at last a trial was held and the person was found guilty of such heinous crimes, he was not given the ultimate punishment which already exists in the statute.
