Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Highveld Lions (LIO) in the 11th match of the Karbonn Smart Champions League Twenty20 2013 (CLT20). The match was scheduled to take place at Sardar Patel Stadium Motera, Ahmedabad but was shifted to Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur due to relentless rainfall in Ahmedabad over the past few days.

Overview:

Both the teams come into the contest well aware of the fact that they have to win this match to stand a chance for the semi-finals berth. They lost to Rajasthan Royals in their respective encounters in the tournament.

Mumbai Indians have two points on the table from two games played. They conceded a 7-wicket loss to Rajasthan Royals in the opening game of the league stage before the match with Otago Volts was abandoned due to rain.

Highveld Lions too have two points on the table from two games after the first match against Perth Scorchers was abandoned. They lost to Rajasthan Royals by 30 runs in their previous outing.

On the bowling front, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rishi Dhawan and Kieron Pollard took a wicket apiece in the previous match. The team will expect key bowlers Mitchell Johnson, Pragyan Ojha and Harbhajan Singh to take wickets in this crucial match.

Highveld Lions: Skipper Alviro Petersen (40) and Hardus Viljoen (24) helped the team put up a decent total in the previous match. They will expect Rassie van der Dussen, Quinton de Kock, and Temba Bavuma to give a good start, giving space for the middle order to play their natural game.
