Dhaka, Nov 7 (ANI): Additional Attorney General of Bangladesh, M K Rahman, said that the clash of ideologies has plunged Bangladesh into a cycle of violence as the two main political parties - ruling Awami League led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangladesh National Party (BNP) headed by Begum Khaleda Zia are exploiting the tension between secularists and Islamists ahead of elections. Rahman while talking to the reporter in Dhaka on Thursday ruled out that the mounting tension was because of political enmity between the leading political parties. Commenting over the demand for a caretaker government, Rahman said that a constitutional amendment for such a demand was not possible. Rahman also said that the BNP should break ties with Jamaat-e-Islami as well as with all the fundamentalist groups.
