New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): Chief Justice of India, RM Lodha while speaking at a function organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association on Friday, said he hopes that judiciary, executive and parliament are allowed to work independently and without any interference. Meanwhile, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said sanctity of independence is an article of faith. On Thursday upper house of the parliament passed the National Judicial Appointments Commission Bill 2014, which will replace the existing collegiums system when it comes into effect.
