New Delhi, Feb 01 (ANI): The government has amended the rules to ensure that civil servants spend a minimum of two years at each posting. According to new rules aimed at checking political interference, any premature transfers or new appointments will only be done by a civil services board. The new rule governs Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS). The government has also set up a development board for nomadic tribes.
