Kathua, July 21 (ANI): Former Lok Sabha member from Udhampur and senior Congress leader Chowdhary Lal Singh resigned from the party alleging 'back stabbing' from the party leadership. Singh announced his resignation at a Congress workers' meeting in Kathua town of Jammu. He said that the party had promised him ticket from Jammu, whereas it fielded Ghulam Nabi Azad from the seat. Azad, however, lost the elections to Jitender Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
