A grand function has been organised by Ram Charan on the occasion of his father Megastar Chiranjeevi's 60th birthday. The star will cut the cake in the presence of hundreds of stars from Indian cinema.
Born on 22 August, 1955, Chiranjeevi turned 60 on Saturday. His son Ram Charan has planned the grand event to mark this day. The function is being held at a five star hotel in Hyderabad at 4.00 pm on Saturday. He has invited all the leading celebrities from Indian cinema as well as politics, who have good relationship with his father.
Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and his family, Tabu, Boney Kapoor and others are expected to attend Chiranjeevi's birthday party in the city. Leading superstars from the South film industry, including Rajinikanth, will grace the occasion that is likely to be one of the biggest events of Tollywood in 2015.
Ram Charan is reportedly leaving no stone unturned to make his father's 60th birthday party one of the biggest events of the year. The actor is said to be personally looking after all the arrangements like decorations, guest list, entertainment and food. The menu will have Chiru's favourite dishes.
A bespoke dosa is Chiranjeevi's favourite dish and it will be served to the guests on the occasion. What is more interesting is that this dosa will be made at his own residence. It has been reported that his head cook, Srinu, has trained the hotel chefs as to how to make the dosa.
Sources close to the Mega family reveal that Ram Charan is planning to patent the Chiranjeevi dosa and start a restaurant with the same name. "They are planning to patent the dosa and have restaurants in the same name," DNA quoted a spokesperson as saying.
Chiranjeevi made his acting debut with "Punadhirallu" in 1978 and has starred in 149 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi in his career of 37 years. He is also a film producer, singer, voice artist, politician, businessman, investor and a member of the Indian National Congress.
With his amazing performance in all the aforementioned fields, Chiranjeevi has become one of most popular Telugu personalities. He has a huge fan following not only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but also all over the world.
