Chinese actress, television producer and pop singer Fan Bingbing recently made headlines by being one of the jury members at Cannes Film Festival. The 35-year-old League of Gods star has been attending the annual film festival since 2011 and her international presence is not just limited to Cannes. From casting call for several Hollywood movies to brand endorsements, she is being busy travelling across the globe in the past few years.

Bingbing became popular among American movie-goers with the release of superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014. She portrayed the character of Clarice Ferguson a.k.a Blink, which eventually helped her in gaining international recognition and increasing her popularity. The movie also helped her bag a four-film contract with 20th Century Fox.

Being a globally recognised celebrity is not an easy job mainly because the entertainment industry and the fans will have high expectations. The young actress and pop singer currently has a handful of film and television projects with her, which includes American fantasy movie The King's Daughter, Chinese war film The Bombing and television show Win The World. She has also joined the cast of upcoming big screen projects The Lady In The Portrait and White Sparrow.

Born in 1981 as the daughter of Fan Tao and Zhang Chuanmei, Fan Bingbing joined the world of entertainment as a television actress in 1997. She rose to fame two years later with the portrayal of a maid named Jin Suo in historical drama My Fair Princess.
