In the latest episode of NBC's "Chicago Fire" season 4 titled "Short and Fat," it seems that Severide (Taylor Kinney) will be trying his best to find the whereabouts of Serena (Ilfenesh Hadera).

According to the synopsis of the episode, Patterson fills in for Boden (Eammon Walker), who's trying to clear his name; Severide learns where Serena may be hiding; Herrmann and Otis give Freddie a job that keeps him close by; and Jimmy and Chili draw more attention than either bargained for.

The synopsis also mentions that since his position will be put in question, Patter will be left with no other option than to fill in for Boden. Severide will siphon off his frustration on Boden after the firehouse received bad press coverage.

Severide will also challenge Boden regarding his ability to be honest and sincere to his responsibilities.

Besides it, Severide will continue to search for Serena accompanied by Jamie (Rachael Nichols).

In the previous episode titled "When Tortoises Fly," Boden was back and ready to take over his job duties. He recently got back his position as chief of the firehouse as earlier, he was involved in a scandal that resulted in his expulsion.

While trying his best to clear his name, Boden confronted Maddox, played by guest star Mark Hengst, regarding a particular issue. It seems Boden believed that Maddox was responsible the accusation that Serena had made.

However, this was not the only problem that Boden faced. It was later revealed that Boden also had to deal with his female neighbour, who was dead set to ruin his reputation among his colleagues.

Most probably the upcoming episode will see Boden trying to settle the matter with the neighbour and find out what motivated her to accuse him.

"Short and Fat" will air on NBC on 8 December, Tuesday.
