Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer their fullback Filipe Luis and £30 million in a player-plus-cash deal for Atletico Madrid's Koke.

Although the Blues, who clinched the Premier League title following a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday, have been very consistent this season, manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly already started looking for new players to strengthen is squad even further this summer.

The Portuguese recently revealed that he is planning to make a couple more signings this summer to improve his side's chances in the Champions League (the competition he is still yet to win at Stamford Bridge), next season.

Koke is believed to be at the top of his shopping list this summer, and according to the Daily Express, the Portuguese is reportedly looking to include Luis to sweeten the deal.

The Brazilian left-back, who completed a £15.8 million switch from Atletico to Chelsea last summer, has failed to break into the first team due to Mourinho preferring to the in-form Cesar Azpilicueta in the left-back position.

However, Atletico Madrid are reportedly still interested in getting the left-back, and Chelsea are reportedly ready to use him as a weightage in their attempts to sign Koke.

The 23-year-old, who has managed to emerge as one of the best midfielder's in the world at Atletico, has a £44m release clause attached to his current contract, which expires in the summer of 2019.

If the Blues do manage to successfully include Luis in the deal, then they will have to only pay around £30 million due to the 29-year-old Brazilian being currently valued at £14 million.

According to the Daily Express, Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo flew to Spain last week to keep an eye on Koke, and it is believed that initial talks between the two clubs have already started.

Although the Blues central midfield region is already packed, it is believed that Mourinho will be able to accommodate Koke into the squad once John Obi Mikel, who is reportedly a target of Real Madrid this summer, is off-loaded.
