The new posters of Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer "Wazir" have been released and both the actors look intense in them.

"Wazir" is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar and is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani.

The film also features Aditi Rai Hyadri, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham in pivotal roles.

Two teasers of "Wazir" have already been released -- one was unveiled in December last year, while the other in June this year.

The audience will see Sr Bachchan as Pandit Omkarnath Dhar, who is an ailing wheelchair-bound chess master.

On the other side, Farhan is playing the role of a tough Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer Daanish Ali.

According to the teasers and posters, the film looks promising and is expected to leave a powerful impact on the viewers and it has been shot extensively in New Delhi, including India Gate and Jama Masjid.

Apparently, the "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" star has put on around 8 kg to get into the skin of the challenging role he portrays in the film.

The film, which will be released on 8 January, 2016, was earlier titled as "Do", but was changed to "Wazir".

Though Big B and Farhan will share screen space for the first time, but the two have worked together previously as well. The "Dil Dhadakne Do" actor has previously directed Amitabh in his 2004 film "Lakshya".
