Lenovo Enters Smartphone Market with Five Android SmatrphonesReuters

Chinese multinational technology firm Lenovo has launched four new budget-friendly smartphones under its A-Series namely, A269i, A369i, A516 and A850. These new Android smartphones with price range between Rs 5,500 and Rs 16,000 will hit Indian stores in the first week October, according to the company.

Lenovo A269i is the cheapest of the four new devices, costing Rs. 5,499. It features a 3.5-inch display (resolution not revealed) and is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor. This dual SIM handset has 4 GB internal storage and runs on Android operating system.

Lenovo 369i is an entry-level smartphone priced 6,999. It features a 4 inch display and is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable by using micro SD card.

Lenovo A516, which falls in mid-range smartphone, costs 10,999. It features a 4.5-inch IPS display and sports a 5-megapixel rear camera besides VGA front facing camera. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded by using micro SD card. Lenovo A516 will come in Charcoal Grey and White colours.

Among the four newly launched smartphones, Lenovo A850 is the costliest with a price of 15,999. The device features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 178 degree wide-view. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The dual SIM device has 4GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It has 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash light and a 0.3M front camera.
