Atharvaa is back with his latest movie "Chandi Veeran", which hit screens on Friday, 7 August. The movie is directed by Sarkunam and produced by Bala.
"Chandi Veeran" is a mix of romance, action and sentiment and Anandhi of "Kayal" fame plays the female lead. The movie, set in a rural backdrop, has PG Muthaiah's cinematography and SN Arunagiri's music.
Ace filmmaker Bala's recent ventures "Pisasu" and "Paradesi" had won audiences' and critics' appreciation. Hence, this movie too has generated positive vibes.
The story of "Chandi Veeran's is about contrasting states of two villages. While one village is blessed with clean water with numerous ponds for fishing and recreation, the other is denied clean drinking water which leads to frequent deaths due to kidney-related issues. A romance blossomed between the lead actors makes the storyline interesting.
