The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying will launch the Livestock Insurance Portal on Monday, marking a key advancement in digital livestock insurance services.
The launch will be conducted by Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, enabling a unified digital platform for policy issuance, claim processing, and reporting under the Livestock Insurance Scheme.
To ensure broader accessibility, the portal will support 11 regional languages in addition to Hindi and English, helping farmers access services in their native tongues.
This initiative aims to make insurance services more transparent, efficient, and technology-driven to strengthen risk protection for livestock farmers and sustain their livelihoods.
The portal will also enhance coordination, real-time monitoring, and data-based management of insurance programs to improve service delivery nationwide.
By simplifying livestock insurance processes, the portal seeks to boost institutional efficiency and bring inclusive digital services closer to farmers.
