Akhnoor, Aug 28 (ANI): Ceasefire violation post the Indo-Pak flag meeting in Akhnoor district in Jammu and Kashmir appalled and angered the villagers. Pakistani Rangers and paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) held the first flag meeting on August 27 since the multiple ceasefire violations by nuclear-armed Pakistan. The meeting was held at the Nikowal Border Outpost in the district. Reportedly, hours after the meeting, Pakistan Rangers started firing late night and violated the ceasefire again early morning at around 4 am. Villagers lamented living under constant threat to life amid continuous ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the international border. A local, Manjeet Singh, expressed his anguish of dealing with ceasefire violation everyday. Meanwhile, Inspector General, Border Security Force, Rakesh Sharma, said that the flag meeting was of company level and that the main meeting is yet to take place.
