The Cyberabad Police have registered a case against the venue and the event manager of the Toxic pre-release event after four people were injured in a mishap at the event. On Saturday, a speaker stand at the event, sending people, climbed up on it, hurtling down to the ground. The film's lead actor, Yash, was on stage when the incident took place.

Police informed PTI that four people, including a student, were injured after a sound box system collapsed during the pre-release event. The event was being organised at a private university, the Malla Reddy University in Medchal, on Saturday night.

A group of young fans had climbed onto the sound box system stand to get a better view of the stage when it suddenly collapsed. Four people fell and sustained injuries. All four were taken to a hospital, police said. "One student suffered a leg fracture while three others had minor injuries," a senior police official said. A case has been registered against the institution's management and the event manager. The police did not specify the details of the case.

The incident was also captured on video by people at the venue, with the footage later shared on social media.

Yash briefly halted the event after he learned of the mishap and asked the organisers to tend to the injured fans first. The actor was on stage, speaking, when the speaker's stand collapsed. He paused his speech midway and asked, "Are they okay? Please check."
