Director VK Prakash's latest Malayalam movie Careful has finally hit the screens in Kerala and Bengaluru on Friday, May 26. Despite the absence of any superstar, the thriller has grabbed the attention of the audience, thanks to its impressive trailer that opened to positive response.

Storyline
Rachana Nambiar (Sandhya Raju) a journalist, who fails to get bylines for her articles, is on a search for that really special investigative piece. She investigates the traffic violations in a city, and comes across few mysterious happenings landing herself in a dangerous situation. Vineeth Kumar's character Bejoy is seen as her colleague, who likes to marry her.
The movie also stars Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Parvathy Nambiar, Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Jose Prakash, Sreejith Ravi and Vineeth Kumar in pivotal roles, and marks the comeback of actresses Jomol and Sreeja to Mollywood after a long gap.

At half time, you definitely doubt how sensible the story she is working on, is. However, it is thrilling enough to make you wait for the next half.

Lensmen review
What is an appreciable thing about careful is that they haven't tried to create a scene by scene copy of U Turn. You can see VKP and team trying enhancing and minimizing the story here and there. But eventually those experiments become the problem. The supernatural element in U Turn was the one thing that kept us all guessing and the Malayalam script reduces it hugely. Some scenes got an entirely low key presentation. The original towards the end kept us a little bit excited because of certain confusions and here we don't get to see that.
