Cannes Film Festival 2014 Opening Ceremony: Stars Dazzle on Red Carpet [PHOTOS]

The opening ceremony of the 67th Cannes Film Festival kicked off on 14 May, in Cannes, France.

Celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Blake Lively, Jane Fonda, Zoe Saldana, Chiara Mastroianni, Mallika Sherawat and Zhang Ziyi dazzled on the red carpet, as they arrived for the glittering opening ceremony of the world's biggest film festival. The stars looked gorgeous and glamorous in their ensembles.

Kidman was joined by "Grace of Monaco" director Olivier Dahan and cast members Paz Vega, Tim Roth as they came for the screening of the film during the film festival. "Grace of Monaco", a new biopic about Princess Grace of Monaco, has been panned by critics. However, that didn't affect Kidman's experience at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress was seen at the film's preview on Wednesday afternoon, as well as for the festival's opening ceremony in the evening. Kidman looked glamorous in a strapless Armani Prive gown with silver embroidery and embellishment for the opening ceremony.

"Avatar" star Saldana wore a white Victoria Beckham gown as she attended the "Grace of Monaco" premier and the opening ceremony. Fonda sparkled in a red Elie Saab Couture dress, while Lively wore a gown by Gucci Premiere. Karlie Kloss opted for a Victorian gothic style and Adele Exarchopoulos wore a white skirt and a black leather bodice.
