A new leak from retailer Target has revealed a possible remastered PS4 version of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." The leak was a pre-order promo of Activision's upcoming video game, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." But a new post on the official Call of Duty Twitter page may have confirmed the remastered version, reports indicate.

A fan tweeted saying, "If I ever hear the words 'Call of Duty 4 PS4 remaster' I will literally sh*t my pants with excitement." The official Twitter account of Call of Duty responded with a short emoji, with poop and pants, which seemingly confirm the "Modern Warfare" remastered PS4 version.

However, fans have been warned of this playful tweet. As there has been no official confirmation or information of either the remastered PS4 version of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" or of the rumoured upcoming game, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," all that's existing currently is rumours.

The remastered version could feature the original campaign and 10 multiplayer maps, the poster leak indicated. Rumours had also indicated a "Modern Warfare Trilogy" coming on PS4 and Xbox One.

Meanwhile, some other rumours have suggested that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" could be based in a futuristic space setting and will be taken up by developer Infinity Ward.

Reports have also predicted that Activision might have something to offer its fans either next week or at E3.
