Players of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from Sledgehammer Games will be treated to three new weapons, according to the official post. These weapons will also be coming with their variants.

Sledgehammer noted that initially however, the weapons will be released on Xbox One and only later will it come to PS4 and PC. It has promised that these will be coming soon on these consoles too.

These weapons will be hitting the Supply Drop rotation on 21 July, first on Xbox One.

Players must note that these weapons will not be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 due to limitations in their hardware.

The three new weapons are:

Blunderbuss: This is a short-range weapon that can do heavy damage when the victim is at a closer range. However, the loading time between single shots is slow.

The weapon will be handy when players have objectives in Hardpoint or keep your team's flag secure in Capture the Flag. However, if players have to unlock their Blunderbuss base weapon, it can be done only after they receive one of the 10 variants via Advanced Supply Drop or Supply Drop.

STG44: This is the new Assault Rifle making a comeback. Players can use it in multiplayer. STG44 is known for its accuracy and controllable fire rate. This weapon is helpful in medium-range combat fights. This weapon has five variants and to access the base weapon, players will have to receive one of its variants in an Advanced Supply Drop or Supply Drop to unlock it.

SVO: This is a Sniper Rifle having a high accuracy rate, but increased recoil. It is a semi-automatic weapon that can be fitted with thermal scope or with iron sights. This too has five variants and players will have to receive one of these to get the base weapon via Advanced Supply Drop or Supply Drop in order to unlock it.
