New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI): Chief of Paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF), D. K. Pathak flagged off the contingent for 9th United Nations (UN) Organisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) on Monday in New Delhi. The BSF Peace-Keeping Mission which is the ninth consecutive contingent to Congo holds a total strengthen of 135 personnel which comprises seven officers, seven subordinate officers and 121 members of other ranks. The contingent who will be deployed in the African nation for a year to perform the duties is led by commandant BSF Yuvraj Dubey. Director General of BSF, Pathak said that this is a prestigious assignment and a specific capsule training on the UN based guidelines was imparted by the BSF to the personnel for their selection.
