New Delhi, Oct 1 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 62.5 points down to stand at 26,567.99. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 19.25 points down to stand at 7,945.55. BERGER PAINTS INDIA LTD and SUZLON were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 5.52% and 4.94% along with BATA INDIA and SHRIRAM CITY UNION FINANCE LTD with an increase of 4.92% and 4.25% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include INFRATEL and SOBHA with a decrease of 5.43% and 3.46% along with MARUTI and MRF with a decrease of 3.34% and 3.27% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 27.03 points at 17,719.87 while the banking sector is down 76.89 points at 17,538.57 and the reality sector is down 10.03 points at 1,571.24. The Indian currency is up 0.06% at Rs 61.71 per dollar.
