Bruce Jenner has allegedly begun the process of becoming a woman by having breast implants put in, and it won't be long before he goes under the knife for more surgeries, reports indicate.

Radar Online claims that his full transition will take place sometime in May or June, and getting breast implants is just the beginning of the gender transformation process.

"Bruce hasn't had any work done below the waist — yet. He did get silicone breast implants, and will have the next major surgery in the next few months. Having his penis removed will be the final step of physically becoming a woman," a source told the publication.

Jenner first sparked rumours of undergoing gender transformation treatment last year after he underwent a surgery to remove his Adam's Apple. Jenner is yet to confirm sex change rumours, but laryngeal shaves are often seen as one of the first steps in gender reassignment surgery. At the time, he defended his decision to remove his Adam's Apple saying, "I just didn't like my trachea."

Since then he has been spotted flaunting feminine features such as long hair, shaped eyebrows, manicured nails and shaven legs, leading publications to speculate that it won't be long before he makes his first appearance as a complete woman.

Meanwhile, the former Olympian has been recovering without any complications post his breast implant procedure, a Radar Online source said.

"Recovery hasn't been that difficult, but Bruce has had to sleep in a recliner to help with the healing. He's not allowed to lift anything, and he has to wear a bra 24/7, but he's expected to resume normal activities in the next six weeks."

While it's still not known how the Kardashians are reacting to Jenner allegedly going under the knife to have breast implants put in, his sons Brandon and Brody, are said to be supportive of their dad's decision.

"This is a very exciting but scary time for Bruce," the insider revealed. "But his sons Brandon and Brody have been taking care of him at his Malibu mansion."
