Union Ministers and Chief Ministers attending the BRICS Summit 2026 are expected to travel together in a single bus from Parliament to Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, according to a post shared by Firstpost.
The leaders are expected to assemble at Parliament before departing together for the summit venue at Bharat Mandapam.
The move is aimed at reducing the number of VIP convoys on Delhi roads and easing traffic congestion during the high-profile summit. It is also intended to minimise inconvenience for commuters and reduce road restrictions for the public.
A common bus movement for the ministers and chief ministers is expected to make it easier for security and traffic agencies to manage the route efficiently while limiting the disruption caused by multiple VIP convoys.
The arrangement comes as the national capital prepares to host the BRICS Summit, which is expected to bring several high-level leaders and delegations to New Delhi.
