"Everyone knows this is a Superclasico, and form is not important ahead when it comes to the Superclasico," Brazil attacking midfielder Douglas Corsta has stated ahead of the Brazil-Argentina showdown on Thursday at the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

"Argentina deserve respect, it's going to be a great game regardless of where they stand right now. I think that we have to impose our rhythm on the game, to play the football that we have been playing. That is the most important thing for us, without thinking how Argentina have been suffering or how they could suffer here."

What the Bayern Munich star is referring to over here is the difference in the CONMEBOL 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification table. Brazil lead the charts with 21 points earned from ten games, while Argentina are sixth, with 16 points achieved from ten games.

Let the points table take a back seat for some time over here as the historic match is only important in terms of bragging rights. HERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW AHEAD OF THE GAME.

The showdown between Lionel Messi and Neymar remains one of the major highlights of the match, but apart from that, the prospect of seeing South American football being played at its highest level is reason enough not to even think of missing the match. FC Barcelona fans are, of course, expected to tune in for the match but having said that, the occasion is fitting for the Real Madrid and Premier League fans also to join in the action.

The match will be played in Brazil in the evening but football fans in India can only catch it in the wee hours of Friday morning. A little difficult, we know, but missing this game is like missing one of the greatest football matches of the year 2016. The decision lies with you. We provide you the details how to watch it.
