Erotic thriller "Hate Story 3" is the fourth most profitable Bollywood film released this year. "Hate Story 3" made on a budget of just Rs 13 crore, has earned around 194 percent profit this year.

Directed by Vishal Pandya, the film features Zarine Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah in the lead roles.

This year Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan starrer "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and comedy film "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" are among the most profitable movies, according to Koimoi.com.

"#HateStory3 Fri 9.72 cr, Sat 8.05 cr, Sun 9.05 cr, Mon 4.40 cr, Tue 3.95 cr, Wed 3.75 cr. Total: ₹ 38.92 cr. India biz. EXCELLENT!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

"Hate Story 3" is now a hit film of the year and to celebrate the success, the makers will throw a party on 11 December.

Since there is no release this week, "Hate Story 3", "Tamasha" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will continue to entertain viewers. The box office run of all the three films will go down next week after the release of "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani".

"Tamasha" has fared decently well at the box office in its two weeks by taking its earnings to more than Rs 65 crore. The collection of "Tamasha" is good at the overseas box office, compared to its domestic run.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

On the other hand, Salman's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will also rake in money from the ticket window, but the collection will be on the lower side.

The box office run of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has almost come to a close and looks like theatrical run of the film will stop after the release of "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani".

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film features Salman, Sonam Kapoor in the lead role and Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Armaan Kohli, Deepak Dobriyal and Swara Bhaskar in supporting roles.
