Ranveer Singh's "Bajirao Mastani" earned around Rs 30 crore in its third week, which is the fourth highest third week box office collection of all time. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Dilwale" had a poor third week with just Rs 11 crore approximate income.

Bajirao Mastani

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film had an upper hand at the box office in its third week, clearly emerging as a winner. "Bajirao Mastani" recorded the second highest third week income of 2015, after "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Box Office India reported. The film also recorded the fourth best third week income, after "PK", "3 Idiots" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

With Rs 30 crore income, "Bajirao Mastani" has taken its 21-day box office collection to approximately Rs 170 crore. And even after three weeks, the film has retained good number of screens in India. With no major competition this week, "Bajirao Mastani" will continue to rake in money in its fourth and fifth week.

Ranveer's film has a higher chance of crossing the lifetime box office collection record of Hrithik Roshan's "Bang Bang" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" in India. But, it solely depends on its box office performance in its fourth and fifth week.

Dilwale

Shah Rukh starrer "Dilwale" took its 21-day box office income to Rs 145.34 crore mark. The box office collection declined drastically in its third week with the film minting less than Rs 1 crore during weekdays.

"#Dilwale [Week 3] Fri 3.41 cr, Sat 1.90 cr, Sun 2.40 cr, Mon 1.13 cr, Tue 1.02 cr, Wed 83 lacs, Thu 78 lacs. Total: ₹ 145.34 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The action romantic entertainer will take its final earnings to Rs 150 crore, if it records a decent fourth weekend, making it an above average grosser in India.
