Ranveer Singh's "Bajirao Mastani" is scaling new heights at the domestic box office with its income. The historical drama recorded a strong business on its second Friday, minting Rs 98.40 crore, which is the sixth highest box office income of 2015.

"Bajirao Mastani" second Friday box office collection is higher than its opening day income, thanks to Christmas holiday. The film minted Rs 12.25 crore on its second Friday, i.e. on its eighth day. With its eight-day box office income, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film has shattered the lifetime box office collection records of Akshay Kumar's "Baby", "Gabbar Is Back" and "Singh Is Bling" and John Abraham's "Welcome Back".

Here is a look at the top 10 grossers of 2015: "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" earned Rs 320.34 crore, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" Rs 208.88 crore, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" Rs 150.77 crore, "Dilwale" Rs 110.76 crore, "ABCD 2" Rs 105.74 crore, "Bajirao Mastani" Rs 98.40 crore, "Welcome Back" Rs 96.69 crore, "Baby" Rs 95.56 crore, "Singh Is Bling" Rs 89.95 crore and "Gabbar Is Back" Rs 87.55 crore.

Backed with positive reviews, the film is now leading the box office with good margin. "Dilwale" dominated the box office in the opening weekend, but now "Bajirao Mastani" has taken over the market in India.
