"Vaayai Moodi Pesavum" ("VMP")

Dulquer Salmaan-Nazriya Nazim's "Vaayai Moodi Pesavum" has taken average opening at the Chennai box office. The romantic comedy entertainer has minted around ₹24.87 lakh in its first weekend, according to Behindwoods website.

The film has received fantastic reviews from critics as well as from the audience. It remains to be seen as to how the Dulquer starrer performs in the coming days.

"Tenaliraman"

Vadivelu's comeback film "Tenaliraman" took a good opening in its debut weekend. Its 10-day collection (18-27 April) amounts to ₹1.70 crore.

The historic comedy entertainer received mixed reviews from critics, but the film has managed to perform decently at the box office.

"Maan Karate"

Sivakarthikeyan-Hansika Motwani's "Maan Karate" has minted approximately ₹4.57 crore at the end of the fourth weekend (4-27 April). Although the fantasy romantic entertainer has witnessed reduced shows due to new releases, the film has managed to hold on well in its fourth week.

"Maan Karate" is reportedly the biggest earner in Sivakarthikeyan's career. The film has successfully completed 25-day theatrical run at the box office.

"Naan Sigappu Manithan" ("NSM")

Vishal-Lakshmi Menon's "Naan Sigappu Manithan" has done average business at the box office. The film is estimated to have earned ₹1.51 crore in 17 days at the Chennai box office. The Siva starrer took a good opening in its first weekend and continued to perform well in its opening week. It managed to hold on to its screens in the second week, despite new releases. However, the overall performance of the revenge drama flick is just average, according to Behindwoods
