Ahmedabad, Oct 08 (ANI): As a part of recently launched 'Clean India Mission', railway authorities in Gujarat introduced hi-tech plastic bottle crushers where the plastic can be recycled and used again. In a bid to keep railway stations clean and recycle used plastic bottles, railway authorities in Ahmedabad installed the bottle crusher machine at a station. A ward assistant of Western Railways, Atul Tripathi, said this was the first time in India that such an initiative was undertaken. If proven a success, it would be further taken to other cities. The eco-friendly initiative will generate employment and also benefit railways, economically.
