If the emerging reports are anything to go by, Toyota will start accepting the booking for the new Innova Crysta in India from March this year. The Innova Crysta is expected to go on sale in the country by mid-2016.

A report by Oncars.in suggests that the official bookings for the Innova Crysta are expected to begin in March. However, the unofficial bookings are already underway with a down payment ranging from Rs 40,000 to Rs 51,000.

For the uninitiated, the new Innova Crysta, which made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016, includes GD 2.4-litre diesel and 2.0 litre engines under the hood. The petrol mill will be available with manual and automatic transmissions.

Expected to be offered in three variants in India, the new top-of-the-line Q variant and V and G trims, the latest avatar of the Innova features LED projector headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. The front fascia gets a big hexagonal grille with two thick chrome slats on the top that blend into the headlamps and the bumper gets fog lamps and turn indicators.

As for features, the Innova Crysta houses automatic climate control with rear auto cooler, 7-inch audio with navigation, cruise control, electrically adjustable driver seat. On safety front, the MPV will feature ABS with Electronic brake distribution and brake assist as standard across the trim.
