Bollywood film-makers have set a trend of making sequels to films, which prove to be a blockbuster at the box office.

Here are few of the upcoming sequels, which one can look forward to this year.

'ABCD 2'

Remo d'Souza's "ABCD" was unexpectedly appreciated by the viewers. All the ace dancers including Prabhu Deva, Salman Yusuff Khan, Lauren Gottlieb and Punit Pathak created magic on silver screen with their performances. This time, choreographer-turned-director, d'Souza has cast Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the sequel "ABCD 2." The film will hit theatres on 26 June this year.

'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'

R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut's "Tanu Weds Manu" was a hit in box office. The chemistry between the two and the storyline were liked by the audience. Apparently, the film-maker decided to name its sequel "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which will soon release worldwide.

'Welcome Back'

The multi-starrer film "Welcome" had Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal in the main lead. The comedy film did well in box office and now the sequel "Welcome Back" will hit theatres on 29 May this year. John Abraham and Shruti Haasan will join the star cast.

'OMG – Oh My God!' sequel

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal's blockbuster "OMG – Oh My God!" did a tremendous job on its release. The huge success of the film has made Rawal co-produce its sequel along with "Khiladi" Kumar.

'Ghayal Returns'

Sunny Deol will soon comeback on silver screen with the sequel of his 1990 film, "Ghayal." There were reports that the sequel will begin from where the first one ended. The shooting of the film has reportedly begun.

'No Entry Mein Entry'

Salman Khan, who is playing a double role in his upcoming "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", will also be playing dual characters in "No Entry Mein Entry", according to Bollywood Hungama. It is the sequel of "No Entry", which had Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in the lead.
