  • Poor Friday Releases: Mindless “Blood Money” And Failed “Bumboo”
Director Vishal Mahadkar’s latest film “Blood Money” was released on Friday. However, the thriller flick didn’t perform well at the box office and failed to impress film critics. “You don't have to be a diamond expert to tell a gem from a pebble. And so, unless stale stories, bad acting and bungled possibilities capture your fancy, Blood Money is much too sluggish, simplistic and boring to bother,” writes Rediff’s Sukanya Verma. The Times of India has given below-average rating for the film. Jagdish Rajpurohit’s latest film “Bumboo” was also released on Friday. The film received poor at the box office. Giving it a 1.5 point at 5 point scale, CNN IBN Live declared, “‘Bumboo’ is a film made with good intentions but somehow the makers couldn't transform the original idea onto the celluloid.”Facebook (Vishal Mahadkar)
