Bollywood is one of the biggest entertainment industries in the world, but it is also responsible for making some of the worst movies ever. Making films is an art that requires a lot of hard work, money, patience and  talent. However, there are certain Bollywood movies that turned out to be flops.

Although the list of worst Bollywood films can be a lengthy one, Wikipedia has come up with a "World's worst movies ever list" and three Bollywood movies have figured in it.

Apparently, a number of well-known critics compiled this list of world's worst movies and the Bollywood films that were included in the list are "Aag", "Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai" and "Humshakals".

"Aag" (2007) was directed by Ram Gopal Verma and believe it or not, it was initially titled as "Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag". Verma had attempted to remake blockbuster "Sholay", but he ended up failing miserably. The movie featured Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Ajay Devgn, Prashant Raj Sachdev and Sushmita Sen. Despite having a strong star cast, the film turned out to be one of the biggest flops in the history of Bollywood. According to Wikipedia, "Aag" made a lifetime box office collection of around Rs 11 crore only and was declared as a "disaster".

"Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai" (2004) was a horror film that met with a horrifying fate at the box office. Directed by Debaloy Dey, the film featured Bhanu Uday, Swara Bhaskar, Murli Sharma and Reema Debnath. Bollywood has produced several horror flicks, but "Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai" was perhaps the biggest flop, making a lifetime box office collection of just Rs 1.35 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Meanwhile, Sajid Khan directorial "Humshakals" (2014) was a multi-starrer comedy film that featured Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta. Considering such a star cast, the film was expected to be a fun ride, but people's expectations were shattered as soon as the film released. The movie was ridiculed by the critics and Sajid Khan was also trolled on social media. Many of the film's stars detached themselves from the movie and some also asked their fans not to watch it. The movie made a box office business of around Rs 60 crore, which was apparently less than half of its total investment.
