Mumbai, Sep 18 (ANI): Bollywood celebrities in the showbiz capital Mumbai applauded Nina Davuluri, the first-ever contestant of Indian origin to be crowned Miss America, and denounced the reports of racist remarks against her clouding the social networking sites. According to reports, Davuluri, who emerged as winner at the 2014 Miss America pageant, has been followed by a slew of racist messages on social networking websites. Bollywood personality, Sophie Choudry, who was born and brought up in Britain said that the talent of people should be celebrated irrespective of their background or nationality. She added that the online racist remarks on Davuluri were views of a few, whereas a large number of people all around the world lauded her success.
